Impact 58
(2,4-D AMINE SALT 58% SL)Category: Herbicide
🌾Usage: Suitable for multiple crops
Weeds are invasive herbs that disrupt the growth and yield of crops. One of the most common weeds even called “the world’s worst weed” is Cyperus Rotundus. Impact 58 is a selective, systemic and post-emergence weedicide which belongs to the Phenoxycarboxylic group. It is used as a wide spectrum weedicide for the control of annual & perennial broadleaf weeds in many crops. Its unique action makes it highly effective especially against Cyperus Rotundus which is one of the toughest weeds to kill.
- ⚙️Mode of Action
Impact 58 is rapidly absorbed by the leaves and roots of the weed. It quickly penetrates into the plant tissue and causes abnormal biosynthesis of protein. This process results in uncontrolled cell division ultimately harming leaves and killing the target weed.
Its translocation action helps it travel throughout the plant finally accumulating in the growing region of the crop where it acts as a growth inhibitor. It is a post-emergence herbicide, finishing annual and perennial broadleaf weeds in wide range of crops.
Wheat: Dosage: 300-500 ml per acre Time of Application: Post emergence | 2-3 days after sowing Its application is recommended in the Tea crop for controlling weeds. It does not affect the germination of ensuing crops and any crop can be grown after its application. When weeds are at least 4 to 8 leaf stage
Sugarcane: Dosage: 300-500 ml per acre Time of Application: Pre-emergence | 6 weeks after planting cane

Aquatic Weeds: Dosage: 600 ml per acre Time of Application: When weeds are young and actively growing
No Crop Area: Dosage: 600 ml per acre
- Plant protection equipment: Use a Knapsack sprayer, a Foot sprayer or a compression knapsack battery sprayer and an ASPEE-HTP power sprayer with a flat fan flood jet nozzle is recommended.
- To be used at the 2-3 leaf stage of weeds.
